We had an amazing stay here, the staff was very friendly and the project that they are supporting with over 700 students to change their local community is inspiring. We left inspired by the children who have been given an opportunity due to the amazing work of the staff here. It was very nice to see and speak with the children during our stay. Two big thumbs up. Additionally, the took great care of us to help organize tours, help us send a package with the India Post, and organize other sightseeing during our stay. We will stay there again and I recommend it to anyone who wants to have a local authentic experience with people making a true change in their community.

The bed also has mosquito netting. The bathroom is basic and functional, but very clean. The standard of cleanliness is almost Japanese throughout the house. There was a desk and chair to work on with many electrical points. Room had AC and ceiling fan, but the latter was sufficient in February. The room also had a balcony. Laundry facilities. The owners are an amazing family who can communicate in English, Hindi and Japanese.

If you want to experience the local culture while supporting a good cause, this is the place to do so! We felt very welcome in the family and as we visited during the festival we got taken along to all the ceremonies the festival entails. This was a truly unique experience which we are very happy to have been a part of. Furthermore the guesthouse is next to the school it supports so you can easily pay a visit there too. The place is just outside of town, so this gives some peace from the busy city. But it can be reached easily by tuktuk (although you might need to help a bit with the navigation) from the temple area of bodh gaya. The guesthouse serves a simple but delicious breakfast and dinner as well as an assortment of hot drinks. Beds are basic but comfortable, so is the shower with reliable hot water. The guesthouse can also arrange other touristic excursions or transportation with a good driver and comfortable car. They are however not the cheapest option in this category.

The house is located on one of the quieter streets, which we appreciated especially at night. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The landlord was always willing to help with any problem, guide us to attractions or discuss the history of India. He also invited us to practice yoga in the morning at the beautiful Butterfly Park. The host lady was happy to prepare local specialties for us such as jackfruit. In addition to the hearty and tasty breakfast that was included in the price of our stay, we could order additional delicious food at any time, which was very convenient because we didn't have to leave the accommodation when the weather was very hot. We felt simply at home here. If we ever return to Bodhgaya, we would definitely stay here again.

The stuff was so kind and cordial! I really love and enjoy the time I spent there.. The last day I ask for one night more and they let me keep the room with 0 problems! They provide me a good and cheap laundry service too! I really recommend it!
