The location and the ambience of the place is amazing. I would recommend everyone to stay here, no second thoughts.

The food is amazing: home cooked and plenty of it. It is basic but has all you need and it is very clean. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner who made our stay here so memorable.

It was very good stay. Especially the village canoe cruise. We did kayaks and other boat Tour before but the village Tour organizef by Johnson's was the best. We had to travel almost 45 minutes to a peaceful village for this your inclided dinner. Very very good. Location also very very good. Beach near, town center not near but not far. We exttended our stay also.

Despite our late arrival, they waited up for us, ensured we got food before the kitchen closed, and made us feel at home immediately. Devon, one of the staff members, even gave me a ride to the pharmacy when my child developed a rash and went out of his way to bring back ice cream for her. Location is a 2-minute walk to a quiet beach. The rooms were clean, spacious, with comfy beds and hot water. The pool was a perfect spot to relax in the afternoons. The on-site restaurant offered delicious Indian and Western dishes, with the convenience of room service. Everything was smooth and stress-free, thanks to Nijad, who helped us plan all our activities seamlessly. The hospitality here is unmatched, and the value for money is excellent. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Varkala!

Stay was clean, cozy and quiet, it was a nice getaway. It is on the cliff, so the beach is quite close, takes about 15-20 min by walk. Host was helpful, allowed us to keep our luggage at her stay after the checkout until late evening when we were ready to leave. Provided us with a list of recommendations for visits and for food, and that worked out well.
