It was like a home away from home. The owners were very caring; they made sure my every need was met with love. The staff were kind and happy, suggesting that they were looked after well. The place was clean, close to everything you need, a quiet oasis, it had a beautiful organic garden, and great mountain views. What more could one ask for?

Beautiful garden, lovely seating area outside. Good location just a short walk from the main market area. 5 minutes from a supermarket. Lots of hot water, good WiFi, comfortable beds. Good breakfast.

Good hot water and water pressure from the shower. There is also a heater in the room which really helps in the evenings at this time of the year. The staff are so helpful and friendly - made our stay an absolute pleasure. They offer really competitive taxi prices. Breakfast is excellent, food at the property is delicious and reasonably priced. Location to the old market is very good. We had such an amazing time at Honey Bee and would recommend for an excellent stay in Ladakh.

We had an amazing stay at Thangkop House. We were warmly greeted by Dolma who is a wonderful host. She made us feel right at home and made sure we adjusted to the altitude. We loved Thangkop so much that we spent a few nights initially but then came back multiple times between trips to other places. The rooms are lovely and sunny. We had yummy breakfasts with homemade local bread. Wang (Dolmas son) helped us organise a scooter trip arranging for the bike to be dropped to the house for a very reasonable price and also helped us organise a trip to the Sham Valley Trek. I couldn’t recommend highly enough and if you are visiting Leh you should stay here :)

The whole place is well run. The staff are the most helpful, friendly, and obliging that we have met in India. The rooms are large, light and airy. The bed is large and comfortable with fresh white linen. There are bedside tables and bed lamps. The bathroom is large and very clean. The water pressure is excellent, and the water temperature is hot. Breakfast is served in a lovely dining room with a good selection of food to choose from. Other meals are available if required and are prepared by a chef. There is a lovely garden to sit and relax in also. All in all, this property is worthy of a high commendation. Congratulations to the owner and management.

Best service from the staff and the owner was so Friendly and guided us the best route for our trip , food was just like home in affordable price and very helpful in every aspect, we had to stay another night in leh because we got late for our route , and they managed everything in just one call and we checked in 2.00 am in night and they still didn't charged us extra for that , and managed our dinner in that late night , also they have such a beautiful rooms with best mountain views , i would recommend everyone if you are going to leh and looking for a stay , must visit here once , you will feel like your own home .

In addition to the lovely clean comfortable room they serve me fruits mostly from their beautiful garden which I very much appreciate. Lovely stay with lovely people, what else could you ask for.
