Absolutely amazing stay, somewhat modern classic meets japanese style room. The building looks brand new. There is an amazing scent of fresh wood which is the house made of. Room looked traditional, tatami on the floor and futons in the corner of the room for sleeping. Very nice and cozy with breathtaking view from our room. The owners were being incredibly nice and even recommended some restaurants and arranged reservation for us. I can only recommend. We stayed only one night on our Shimanami kaido cycling route but it was a really pleasant experience.

Best place to stay while cycling the Shimanami Kaido! The lovely couple is very helpful and the Guesthouse is in a traditional style with a modern touch, very comfortable and clean. We had a shared bedroom but nobody else was there that night so we could enjoy it on our own - had the best sleep

All the amenities were spot on, and even the shared bathroom was really clean. Koji was super helpful too. The island is beautiful and really well set up for tourists had an awesome time!

Guest house tokonoma on yugeshima and the 3 islands its connected was by far the highlight of our holiday. Forget about the shimanami kaido. Go to yugeshima, ride the loop there and do the yumeshima kaido and disappear into a real life ghibli movie. These 4 connected islands are absolutely stunning and so serene and quiet they dont even have traffic lights. The people are so kind, the views are breathtaking, and you are virtually the only tourist! This is a very rare experience. Yasu san is a great host, he helped us get the most out of the short time we had on the islands and he’s just overall a very nice person. The guests were great to, good vibes all around.

Cinnamon Guesthouse Dogo se nachází v destinaci Macujama a poskytuje pokoje s klimatizací a s bezplatným Wi-Fi. Excellent location in the Dogo Onsen area, easily reachable by public transport. Easy to wander around the onsen village morning and night. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The dorms and facilities were clean, and I had a very comfortable stay here for 3 nights. There was an air humidifier in the dorm to combat the seasonal dry air. I found it easy to reach other sights by walking as well, such as Matsuyama castle and Ishiteji temple.

This could probably be the best hostel in my 3 months visit to Japan. The staff is the nicest you could meet, very friendly, good English, they make you really feel at home. The recommendations they give for restaurants are the best. Nice communal area with simple kitchen, where you can meat other travellers. The beds and showers are fine, the pods are perfect 3200 yen per night. Of course everything spotlessly clean. So, next to the station this is thé place to stay in Imabarl.
