It's a relatively small house in which the guests live together with the host and the staff. It's a family atmosphere between the host, the staff and the guests. We cooked together, made some trips and just went for dinner/drinking. Since I speak only a bit of Japanese there was some language barrier, since the host speaks only japanese. However, some of the guests could speak a bit of English and for the translation apps could be used. Nevertheless I never felt excluded.

Travelers House おーさんてぃん青空舎 se află în Taketomi, la 14 minute de mers pe jos de Plaja Naarasa, și pune la dispoziție o grădină, o terasă și parcare privată gratuită. The property is located on a quiet (even for Taketomi) corner of the island in the middle of a beautiful garden. The room was cozy and clean. The decorations and details made it feel like “it was from a picture book” to quote my wife. The owner is a very nice lady that helped us feel very welcome on the island and we enjoyed the homemade breakfast in the garden the next morning.

ゲストハウス石垣 is situated in Ishigaki Island and features a shared lounge. Guests can make use of a garden. Rooms are fitted with a shared bathroom. Ishigaki Island is 1.2 km from the hostel. Good location, friendly hosts, clean room, and well organized kitchen! It feels like home.

The staff at Koa were incredibly friendly and helpful. The bathroom was spotless, and the bedroom was comfortable and inviting. Plus, the closest beach is just a short walk away and absolutely beautiful. If you're planning a trip to Miyakojima, I highly recommend staying at Koa.
