Be aware there is no hot water, but as we learned, this is fairly common in Sri Lanka. It’s on the main road, so there is some traffic noise, but it didn’t bother us. Dinner is also available with notice to the family.

Everything went as expected.

A Perfect Start to Our Sri Lanka Adventure – Moni Farmhouse, Wilpattu Our stay at Moni Farmhouse in Wilpattu was nothing short of exceptional. From the very beginning, everything was perfectly organized by Buddika, who managed our transfers, meals, accommodation, and safari experience with incredible professionalism and kindness. He personally arranged our pick-up from Negombo, coordinated the drive to Wilpattu, and took care of every detail of our stay. The following day, we enjoyed a full-day safari in Wilpattu National Park, which I highly recommend! We were lucky enough to spot sloth bears, leopards, and elephants—a truly unforgettable experience. Moni Farmhouse is brand new and beautifully designed. It felt like staying in a private suite surrounded by nature, offering peace, comfort, and total immersion in the wilderness. All our meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—were freshly prepared and delicious. After our stay, Buddika also arranged our transfer to Anuradhapura, making everything seamless and stress-free. We are deeply grateful to Buddika for his warm welcome and outstanding hospitality. Thanks to him, our journey through Sri Lanka started in the best possible way. Highly recommended!

Tasuta jalgrataste ja aiavaatega Wilpattu Mookalan Resort asub Habawewas, 38 km kaugusel Kumbichchan Kulama Tankist ja 39 km kaugusel Jaya Sri Maha Bodhist. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. They booked a safari in Wilpattu only 1.5 days before our arrival and everything was very well organised. The safari itself was much better than expected: we had the luck to see 4 leopards, a sloth bear and 4 golden jackals, on top of many beautiful birds and reptiles. The resort provided breakfast and lunch to take on the safari, as well as snacks and drinks. Everything was very tasty and plenty. Also breakfast and dinners were very tasty and more than we could eat. All in all, we had a very good stay. Thanks so much!!!!

Our stay at Swan Lake Habarana was fantastic. Kalhara was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond—organizing a cultural evening, a great safari trip, and arranging tuk-tuks at fair prices. He helped with everything before, during, and after our stay. The guesthouse was clean, comfortable, and surrounded by nature. The breakfast was also very good! Highly recommended!

Hotell VISU VILLA asub Habaranas. Kohapeal on vaatega bassein, tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja tasuta eraparkla. Basseinivaatega majutusasutus on Pidurangala kaljust 10 km ja Sigiriya kaljult 11 km kaugusel. Ruwan and his staff were amazing! They were so kind and offered a lot of fun activities in the area. We really enjoyed our stay and their hospitality!

Sweet Home Tourist Rest, Cooking Classes & Tours asub Anuradhapuras Attikulama Tanki lähedal, 2,5 km kaugusel Kada Panaha Tankist. Kohapeal on aed, ühine puhkeruum ja aiavaatega rõdu. Staying at Sweet Home Tourist Rest turned out to be one of the best decisions we made on our trip to Sri Lanka. It’s rare to find a place that offers both great value and a truly personal touch , but this one does exactly that. Instead of just a room, we had an entire private apartment, including a comfortable living room, which gave us so much space to relax. It was quiet, clean, and located in a peaceful part of town, making it easy to rest and recharge between our adventures. And considering the price, it felt like an absolute steal. What really made this stay unforgettable were the authentic experiences arranged by the hosts. Nilukshan helped us explore some of Sri Lanka’s most iconic sites with thoughtfully organized tours, the Wilpattu safari was stunning, and our visits to Anuradhapura and Mihintale gave us a deep appreciation for the country’s culture and history. Everything was well-timed, smooth, and stress-free. We also had the chance to join a Sri Lankan cooking class with Malsha, which ended up being one of our favorite memories. The class was fun, hands-on, and filled with flavor, we left not just with full stomachs, but with recipes and techniques we can take home with us. If you’re looking for more than just a place to sleep, if you want comfort, authenticity, and connection this is the place. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

Blooming Holiday Resort asub Anuradhapuras, vaid 4 km kaugusel Anuradhapura raudteejaamast. Kohapeal on välibassein, aed ja täispäevane valve. Location: Close to the town and easy access. Staff : Super nice. Friendly and polite. Rooms : Spacious rooms with all facilities. Food : Amazing 👏. They prepared traditional Sri Lankan food, which was very tasty 👌

Habaranas asuv Habarana Dulwan Guest House on 12 km kaugusel Pidurangala kaljult. Külalisi ootavad spaateenused ja tervisepaketid. Terrassiga majutusasutuses on tasuta eraparkla ja tasuta... Amazing place by itself, great location, cleanest room I saw in Sri Lanka and loving personnel. Couldn't recommend more.
