I loved it here! Really nice place, nice and clean rooms. Tony, the owner, really does anything to make people feel like they're at home. If you're in Jaffna this is the place to stay, near the center but in a quiet road, many restaurants and cafes nearby. I highly recommend this place!!!

Allen, as mentioned over and over in other reviews, is the best host EVER. This kind of people makes the difference when traveling like we do, where the main goal is to enjoy the culture and people, as much as the places we visit. Allen went way beyond expectations on helping us with whatever we may need (from train schedules, arranging a great driver for a day-long tour, giving us recommendations for local places, to taking his bike and buying us some cold beers after hours, or getting up to prepare us an unusually early morning breakfast to go, due to our very early schedule), overall making us feel like his true guests despite the commercial relationship. Well-travelled, Jaffna-native but with many years in Europe, Allen is the kind of person that you hope you have more time to get to know better, and that will remain as a highlight of any trip. The property is his own home, where you rent some rooms. It is a very quiet spot in a green and shady compound in a cul-de-sac, a great respite from some of the Jaffna frenzy. Located a quick 5-min. tuk-tuk ride from the train station, it is also near the main Hindu temple of the city, a couple of blocks away. The room we rented had its own exclusive bathroom, but crossing the living room. There was another room with a full private bathroom, not available at the time. The house has a quaint feeling, very cozy and clean. The AC in the room worked fine and it was very welcomed. Breakfast was great, abundant and tasty, prepared by Allen on the spot.

This is such a lovely, comfortable place to stay. Jaffna hospitality! Beautiful house and grounds, large, comfortable room. Ravi and Kandiah graciously respond to all requests. We ended up eating not only breakfast at home but most dinners as well. Highly recommend.

Excellent customer service. The only property is a 5 minute walk to the Jaffna railway station. This was very convenient for me as I was taking an early morning train. The staff were very nice and did everything to make my stay comfortable. I’ll definitely be back

Raj’s place is an excellent base for a few days in Jaffna. Raj is an outstanding host—very friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The rooms are simple, clean, and have great air conditioning. They also include a hot shower with excellent water pressure. The location is a five-minute walk to a few local restaurants or about a 25-minute walk (or a short drive) to Jaffna town. The place is a lovely, relaxing, and peaceful spot to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast is available for an additional 900 LKR per person. The breakfast is excellent—a very generous spread of authentic cuisine that changes daily. We thoroughly enjoyed Raj’s hospitality and would definitely return if we’re in Jaffna again.

Nallur Holidays Inn í Jaffna býður upp á gistirými sem eru aðeins fyrir fullorðna með baði undir berum himni og sameiginlegri setustofu. Very friendly owner, nice room and good value for what you pay, received a free welcome coffee which was very nice, highly recommend

Dilan and his staff were absolutely amazing!! Would recommend anyone going to Jaffna to stay at this fine place and with these wonderful people

Gatetrees resort er staðsett í innan við 1,5 km fjarlægð frá Jaffna-lestarstöðinni og 1,7 km frá Nallur Kandaswamy-hofinu í Jaffna. Boðið er upp á gistirými með setusvæði. A very nice hotel with excellent service from the staff and restaurant was also very good. Enjoyed evenings on the balcony too as peaceful and relaxing.

Located within 400 metres of Jaffna Railway Station and 1.2 km of Jaffna Public Library in Jaffna, J City Holidays Inn features accommodation with seating area. Simply a fantastic hotel in Jaffna. Location is excellent, near both the train station and sights. The room was beyond my expectations for the price. This is probably the best accommodation I stayed in during my time in Sri Lanka. Great hospitality by the staff too. Thank you for a great stay.
