They weren’t upset when I said the WiFi wasn’t fast enough or the eggs were too salty— they helped me fix the problems immediately and I had fast WiFi and tasty eggs! We stayed in this botanical garden. You can imagine how beautiful it is! In addition, the hotel owner has a very polite son and a naughty and lovely daughter. We felt very happy playing with them.

We have had a lovely time at Simoya Nature Park, the hosts being lovely and very helpful. The room is beautiful and the food is delicious. We tried dinner as well, not just the breakfast on the balcony which was included and was the highlight of our stay.

I l strongly recommend this place to any traveler looking for some relaxing atmosphere. The family was very nice and super helpful in helping me to plan my stay. They provided very useful recommendations and help with ordering tuktuk. The food was the best I had in Sri Lanka so far, highly recommend to enjoy your dinner there. The room was very nice and clean, AC, huge bathroom. The garden was very pretty. The guesthouse is located a bit outside of the main road but the village is accessible by foot. Last but not least, I did the safari with the owner, which was one of the best experience I had. Safari was in Hurulu Forest Reserve, a very nice forest, and we saw lots of (baby) elephants. Highly recommended!
