Our experience with this host was truly outstanding. From the moment we arrived she was warm, welcoming and incredibly attentive to our needs. One of the highlights of our stay was when she took us to a beautiful lookout giving us a chance to enjoy stunning views. She went beyond in every way including kindly dropping us off at the interislander terminal. We are very grateful for her hospitality and would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone visiting the area. A wonderful host and am unforgettable experience!

Beautiful, peaceful, idyllic location right by the water at Queen Charlotte Sound. We enjoyed walking the last leg of the famous Queen Charlotte track, which was a wonderful, relatively easy track offering superb views. Jumped off the jetty for a swim in the sound and within 2 mins having a hot shower at the apartment. Tanya and Shayne could not have made us more welcome. They clearly enjoy sharing their piece of paradise, and their enthusiasm is addictive. Very comfortable bed, great shower, well equipped kitchen, peaceful sleep. Don't hesitate to book and stay as long as you possibly can. You won't regret it! We've stayed in some gorgeous places in the South Island and this one was our favourite.
