Our host was as super friendly and spoke perfect english (which is not that common here in Thailand). We got a lot of good and honest tips from him without them having an ulterior motive. Just for him we would probably come back as he also saved our day by getting us a short term transport to Chiang Mai. The breakfast options are few but everything that was there tasted good (Mostly fruit, toast and eggs). The rooms were clean, tidy and just what we expected. It’s also in walking distance to almost everything in the city center and therefore ideal for tourists. If we ever come back to Chiang Rai we would stay here again.

Location is just perfect! Approx 5-6 km away from downtown is exactly what one needs if one needs to enjoy the tranquility of solitude. If one complains about taking cabs for €3-4 then one shouldn’t be coming to Thailand or to this wonderful place.

Gita's House se nachází v klidné části Chiang Rai, 15 minut jízdy od autobusového nádraží. Nabízí přátelský penzion. Everything. The place is clean, quiet, well kept. The bed is super comfortable. The shower has hot water, the decoration makes you feel at home. The staff is very helpful they give you tips on what to see around and you can rent a scooter directly there. The breakfast is very nice and has plenty of different options with delicious homemade marmelade. One regret is not being able to stay more. Thank you for everything 🙏

The best stay in Thailand! We really loved staying at Graphic House, such a nice and modern building managed by a very kind host. The room was spotless, spacious, bright and comes with a comfy bed, AC and a fridge. The toilet is well designed and there’s daily room service with towels being changed and toiletries topped up. There’s a shared kitchen with microwave, hot water, dinnerware, toaster and bread. You can easily rent new motorbikes and borrow a bike as well. Location is a bit far from the centre but Grab works very well. Big shopping malls nearby such as BigC, Central, but also a 7/11 and a new laundry service. Very good value for money. Strongly recommended!

Alex and his family welcomed us in their lovely guesthouse. The room is comfortable and spacious with indoor and outdoor seating in the garden, great ac and wifi. The beds are hard (true south east Asia style) but it's exactly how we like it, so perfect for us, and you are given two blankets to choose how warm you want to be. Shower has great water pressure and hot water, and a hairdryer and towels are provided. Alex's wife and kids will prepare and serve a lovely breakfast of eggs and toast in the lovely patio. Tea, coffee and water are always available. Truly a lovely place to stay, tucked away in a quite street 10 minutes from the center of Chiang Rai, this is truly a lovely place to stay.

The room (including the bed)was confortable and big and very clean good wi fi it was very nice the service was very kind too and things to cook and a nice balcony the only thing to make it even better would be a small biscuit to take with coffee but it was already nice to have free coffee and water.

Warin’s house is located in a small village in Wiang Kaen. It’s a cozy, quiet home built by the village, surrounded by nature, with a stunning view overlooking the Mekong River. We had a lovely night there—wish we could have stayed longer! Warin was incredibly kind and helped us arrange the slow boat to Luang Prabang, which made us feel so warm and welcomed. Highly recommended!
