The hosts have been really friendly and really helpful. Advising on what to do and where to go for restaurants, hikes... We've got the opportunity to do an early check-in, after a night flight it was really appreciated. The salty breakfast was incredible, the onions and mushrooms were amazingly cooked. The location is also perfect to visit Cape Town and the Cape of Good Hope and very safe.

Dreamhouse Guest House is situated in Hout Bay, Cape Town. It offers endless mountain and sea views and features 2 salt-water swimming pools. Llandudno Beach is a 7-minute drive away. It is absolutely a dream house. White lien, the room was clean and by the pool. I enjoyed my stay. I most enjoyed the quietness and it was relaxing. I also enjoyed the amarula cream from Ivanka an amazing non-biased woman. Thank you once more for your hospitality. I will definitely visit Hout Bay again and book at dream house.

Our stay at Bluemari's Retreat was an absolute delight from start to finish. It is a luxury retreat in every way... a beautiful house and garden in a quiet and safe location which exudes calm and serenity. All rooms are stylish and well equipped with comfy beds, quality bed linen and top notch bathrooms. The outdoor bath in Flamingo is fabulous. The pool area, dining room, lounge and library are beautiful too and we were made to feel so 'at home'. EVERYTHING is of the highest quality and EVERYWHERE is immaculate. Huge thanks to Jan and Evelyne who are superlative hosts, so charming and so efficient with great knowledge of the area. Serving the most delicious breakfasts including perfect poached eggs and omelettes, helping with recommendations for restaurants and adding many personal touches that made our stay so memorable. From homemade biscuits, a cellar of superb wines and a handy phone charger by the kettle to Christmas gifts and music on Christmas morning and an invitation to a braai on our last night. The best hotels just cannot match the style, charm and serenity of Bluemari's Retreat. If you are planning to stay near Cape Town, you must stay here!

We liked the attention that was given to small but warm and welcoming details like fresh roses, a sea shell on the roll of toilet paper, gorgeous fragrances when you opened the cupboard doors! There are too many to name them all. Any requests were immediately attended to. The large windows ensured that we could enjoy the breathtaking view all day!
