The property owner and staff were welcoming and the property is ideally located near a shopping center and not too far from the beach front. We loved the breakfast we got in the morning. Overall a pleasant stay.

The house is absolutely stunning. The welcome we received was warm and friendly. Walking in one knows that the ocean is close by as the place is tastefully decorated. The breakfasts are superb. The coffee is excellent. Dirk is an amazing host.

Suites at Blaauw Village Guest House offer large windows and ocean-inspired decorative accents. Each is air-conditioned and has tea-and-coffee-making facilities. We were grateful for the warm welcome and amazing hosts. The coffee shop downstairs was INCREDIBLE and so was the breakfast. No matter the issue, they had a solution.

The owners, Sharl and Jennifer were very friendly and helpful offering tips for places to visit. What stood out to my wife and I were the excellent breakfast on offer. Jennifer made an English breakfast, but also offered an excellent omelette and at other times crepes. The garden at Mandalay Beach Guest House is so beautiful, but so is the whole property! We would recommend this Guest House for those looking for a quiet vacation spot that is within a 10 minute walk from the beach, and also close to Cape Town. Our stay of 12 nights were absolutely enjoyable, we will miss the hospitality and graciousness of Sharl and Jennifer.

Everthing about this place is execeptional. The view, location,hosts and surroundings. Unfortunatly we only got to stay for 1 night, but will definetly be booking a longer stay in the near future.
