Our flight got delayed, and they were waiting for us at the pier to help us with our bags and find our way late at night. They answer all our questions about activities, prices, and directions. The accommodation is conveniently located near the public ferry, which runs frequently and costs only 10 EGP per person. JJ welcomes you with tasty lemon-mint drink and offers the tea when he sees you :)

Actually they try to provide everything you wish. Our room 203 (without balcony) was very comfortable. Also a big thanks to Bibo and also to Sido ✌️

Mohamed was extremely kind and attended to any questions I had about the island, tours and food recommendations. The property is also very close to the public ferry and it is very safe to walk around and explore. The breakfast served by the family was fantastic as well as the dinner. The prices are fair for the food provided. A very special thank you to Menshawe, who was extremely hospitable and helped to make my stay extra special. He was very kind, and taught me a lot about elephantine island and the people who live there. Aswan is truly a beautiful and tranquil destination on the Nile river, and your stay at King Mena will provide you with the best views to see the amazing landscapes and sunsets

But, the highlight for us was Tamer, the hotel owner. Tamer is a real example of Nubian kindness. He was very helpful to us and made everything possible to make our stay comfortable. He also helped us organize our activities with the best prices, you can count on him to help you organize your trip and anything you'll need. Tamer is Number one in Aswan!

Abu and the staff (Abu's family) is very friendly and always available and helpful (giving advices). We also recommend the excursions that they are proposing: visit of Botanic garden, tombs of nobles, Nubian village. The Elephantine island is a quiet place that we liked very much. Thanks to Abu for his hospitality. We felt like at home.
