This cottage is very clean and comfortable. The windows have an incredible view of the field and the sea in the distance. We even saw the northern lights in the evening!

There is a supermarket 10minutes drive away from the place. The third room was not booked so we got the whole place to ourselves. Good for cooking! Bed was comfortable :)

The shared kitchen has new kitchenware and very convenient compared to other hotels that shared kitchen provided very old and not so clean kitchenware. It is located in remote area so it is quite peaceful and beautiful scenic view. We are happy there is very good warm pool nearby. The pool is cozy and not crowded at all.

I found the decor very pleasing. Cosy yet fresh. The facilities were good eg dishwasher, nice seating areas, dining area. There was a lovely balcony.

Akkeri Guesthouse provides rooms in Stykkishólmur. This guest house features a garden and free private parking. At the guest house, units include a desk and a flat-screen TV. Nice spot in a beautiful village.

Special thanks to Monika, a sweet and friendly host who was ready to accommodate our last min request for breakfast. Amazing breakfast. Everything was perfect. Not a false note anywhere.
