Meta, the owner of the homestay, was the most amazing man. He welcomed me into his home and family and showed me around his country with passion and joy. He gave me personal tours of Angkor Wat and the floating village on Tonle Sap lake. I stayed in a little private bungalow that had the sweetest porch, a fan inside to keep cool, and hot water. If you need anything, Meta or his family, is there to help in an instant. The property is 30 minutes from town but Meta will arrange a tuk tuk easily or I rented a bike to make it easy. Staying at Kakrona Pouk homestay let me experience true Cambodian life and I am forever grateful.

Mr Bun and his family were very welcoming. The food was typical and very good (thanks to Bun’s mother). Mr Bun helped us organized everything during our trip including two days tuk tuk ride with our very kind and presureless driver Mr Covid who took us around the temples. We had an amazing time. Good experience and reality check for the kids. Root style for European standards, but great if you want a more authentic Cambodian experience.

Laundry service was quick, cheap and good. Great value! I ended up staying an extra 2 days.

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool and views of pool, Angkor Rithy Residences is a recently renovated homestay set in Siem Reap, 2.7 km from King's Road Angkor. The hostess and staff were fantastic.

Offering a garden and garden view, Angkor Piseth Retreat is situated in Phumi Ta Phul, 4.3 km from King's Road Angkor and 5.6 km from Angkor Wat. had a wonderful experience at this homestay. The service was excellent — the hosts were very respectful, friendly, and always ready to help. The place was spotless and well maintained, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this stay to anyone looking for a clean, peaceful, and well-managed place.
