If you are wanting to experience peaceful oasis in Ella, this is the place. The design of this unique space hits all the marks in an off the beaten path stay. A junglalow with a view of waterfall, the jungle sounds immersed in nature. The room is private, super clean and the design of the space is just perfect 🤩 it is a 10 out of 10!!! Saman and her husband were so helpful and kind. The breakfast was awesome… we are vegan and they were very accommodating. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts! 🙏❤️

What an awesome stay with Fahad and Begum and their family. We felt welcomed right from the start when we arrived. Our room was awesome spacious clean with an amazing balcony and view. We were delighted when Begum and Farad responded positively for our requests for meals. They provided the best vegan meals with awesome Sri Lankan curries and my favourite Sambol yum 😋. Farad had the best Sambol recipe I have ever had. Begum was a master of vegetables and jackfruit curries. Farad also was our tour guide in his brand new Tuk Tuk and took us on so many great tea adventures plus a wonderful trip to the tallest waterfall in Sri Lanka 🇱🇰. He was a calm amazing driver and he also drove us to our next stop near Ella. Honestly Haputale is a much more authentic highlands experience and Bawa Inn was exactly what we wanted … a Sti Lankan guesthouse with awesome hosts. Thank you 🙏 Begum and Farad.

We totally recommend this place, the staff/manager was so friendly and we were even offered some snacks and coffee/tea upon arrival. The room was big and clean, there were a lot of facilities (e.g. minifridge etc.) and the balcony was as well very pretty. The street in frond has a lot of traffic but after 9pm it gets really quiet. There is no AC but a good fan and because of the cooler temperatures in Ella AC is not necessary. The location itself was just PERFECT, it‘s a 10min walk to the Nine Arches Bridge through stunning jungle and just 5-10min by foot to the centre of Ella!

The family is always happy to help with anything you need, from local tips to laundry services or arranging a taxi or tuk-tuk to your next destination. I 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic experience with a warm Sri Lankan family.

Rasika, his wife and daughter gave us a very warm welcome in their house. They are such a nice and beautiful family! Rasika helped us with organizing our trips, including drivers. We even got invited to the 6th birthday of their daughter and got a lot of delicious cake brought to our room!! The breakfast was the best we had in Sri Lanka!

Everything was exeptionnal to be honest. It was my best hotel in my journey in srilanka. Yeah it was more expensive than the others but it was worth every cent. The view was fascinating, food was great, the owners were adorable. Highly recommended. Oh yeah, it's close to everything
