I really enjoyed my two nights at El Jardin Sagrado. The guesthouse is located just before the entrance to Pisac archeological site (if you walk, that is) and a block or so up the hill from the central plaza, so it's close to everything while still being quiet. The room itself is well equipped, with table and chairs, a sidelamp, and a wardrobe for hanging/storing things. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was very clean and the hot water shower worked well. Reiner and his wife were very kind and attentive hosts, and provided great suggestions for my extra day. As a bonus, you get two affectionate dogs to pet. Great value for money and definitely recommended.

The kitchen was the highlight of our stay! We really enjoyed cooking ourselves and the hosts were very accommodating, showing us everything we could use for cooking.

I must say i loved the stay here, probably the best I've been so far in my visits to Peru. What i like the most is listed below: -The peace of the place, overlooking the valley, with the beautiful Chicon snowpeak right in front. The contact with nature is incredible, also the stars and galaxy can be seen entirely on the sky during the night (I practised some astrophotography) -The many options for hiking/trekking nearby: Maras, Moray, Urubamba, Ollantaytambo, and a long long etc. -The warmth and cordiality from Diego, the host. Apart from being an amazing cook, he is friendly and helpful with your planning around the valley. -The house pets Tina the cat and the chickens were a cute company to my stay. -Room and bathroom are super confy and alike to any nice hotel in Cusco, I slept and had hot showers everyday, didn't miss this at all! -If transport is needed to go down the valley, either Diego or taxis from Urubamba are easily booked.

Casa Augusta is located at the heart of Pisac and feels like a home away from home. From the moment I arrived José, the host, treated me like family - he even made a special tea to help me with altitude sickness, he would fill out my water bottle every night so I wouldn't be cold!! The morning view was amazing, overlooking the mountains in a frame of leaves and flowers from the house's garden. The bed was huge, and the bathroom had lots of hot water. It was super comfy.

We were a group of 6 people with 2 triple rooms, one on the second floor and one on the third floor. The rooms were huge, and the views of the snow-capped mountains from the open hallways in front of the rooms were incredible, especially from the 3rd floor. The host was wonderful. Great breakfast, after which we got to watch the host weave with her daughters, and we also got to look at their handmade crafts which were available for purchase.
