We are very grateful to Rik for his hospitality and were happy to stay at this homestay! We arrived in Hanoi late at night, around 2 a.m., and even at that hour, Rik responded to us on WhatsApp (he was always available and helped us). He allowed us to leave our suitcases in the kitchen at such a late hour and offered us free noodles (unfortunately, we didn't get to eat them😅 but thanks anyway). We want to say thank you again for this, because the flight was long and difficult, we were exhausted and didn't have to wait for check-in on the street. Before check-in, we had a chance to chat with some of the guests, who are also wonderful people, and you will feel safe here. The room itself was spacious and very clean, and the kitchen was also very clean and pleasant to be in. The bathroom is also spacious and clean. The homestay is located deep in a side street, so you can't drive right up to the entrance, but the main advantage of this is that it was always quiet there, with no noise from the road. You can also walk to the sights in a matter of minutes, and there are many restaurants and souvenir shops nearby. I forgot my headphones in the room and discovered this at the airport. Rik wrote to me about it and said that I could come back for them at any time. This gesture touched me deeply! Unfortunately, we didn't return there, but if we are lucky enough to visit Hanoi again in the future, we would definitely stay with Rik again.

Aia ja terrassiga Bamboo Homestay Old Quarter asub Hanoi kesklinnast 400 meetri kaugusel. Sisehoovivaatega majutusasutusel on terrass. Külalistemajas on peretoad. What an absolute hidden gem! The location is close to everything, the room is HUGE, clean, have everything you need-from big comfortable bed, to hairdryer, free water, many toiletries, big flat tv. The check in procedure very easy and clear, you leave payment for your stay on the table. The owner was kind enough for us to do 1 hour check out later at a rainy day (because we waited for our bus), which is very appreciated! Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

CharmCham house asub Hanois, 400 meetri kaugusel Thang Longi veenukuteatrist ja 700 meetri kaugusel Hoan Kiemi järvest. Tubades on konditsioneer ja privaatne vannituba. Thịnh the host is the best! He was so attentive, kind and warm! He gave us good tips to everything and helped us keeping our backpacks when we weren’t outside the city for some days. The room has everything you need.

Sisehoovivaatega T Home Balcony asub Hanoi Hoan Kiemi linnaosas, 700 meetri kaugusel Püha Joosepi katedraalist ja vähem kui 1 km kaugusel Thang Long Water Nukuteemajast. It’s close to the old centre. The vibe is nice and not as touristy as on the other side of the lake (which is just a small walk). The room is very clean. The location so we learned has been with 1 family for a long time. The host is very accommodating.

With an unassuming entrance we found this homestay to be very comfy and just what we were looking for to enable us to explore Hanoi and the surrounding areas. It was very clean, safe, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was more than adequate. The location was perfect to see all the different areas of Hanoi. We were 4 stories up so if your mobility isn’t great then ask for a lower room maybe but most places in Hanoi are high rise so will be the same as this. Our host (Stella) and her sister were absolute diamonds. Helping us with any enquiries we had. The breakfasts were good though we still recommend trying out the local restaurants for authentic Vietnamese breaky as well. Thankyou for making our stay so enjoyable.

Lee Homestay on hiljuti renoveeritud külalistemaja, mis asub Hanois, Vietnami etnoloogiamuuseumist 12 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on tasuta jalgrattad ja järvevaated. Super friendly Host. Bob the Dog Welcome Gifts and Tea. Location! It's quite and a little outside of multimetropolian Megacity! Beautiful lake next to it.

Thuyannh, the owner, is beyond incredible! She waited for me to arrive with her umbrella in the pouring rain! She was so kind to help me with everything! The room is so big, clean and comfy! The area is VERY near the lake and the cathedral. It is near shops and food stalls. She makes sure you get all your meals ready and prepares them for you. She was so kind in always asking if i needed anything since i was traveling alone. If you are looking for a place to stay in old quarter hanoi, affordable, comfy and clean, stay in this place!
