United StatesWhy am I giving this place 10 out of 10? Because it's exactly what is depicted and described. Rooms are very small and basic. But if you are familiar with the city and want to stay in the area, it's a good option. Fast internet, friendly staff, no problems.
Yes there is a construction site next door but noise only during the day (and you don't want to be in the room during the day anyway) and at night it was perfectly quiet.

This place is really cool, colorful and relaxed. They serve delicious breakfast. There are many hammocks to chill out in. Great location in the city center, from what we’ve heard from the locals it is one of the safer neighbourhoods of Sao Paulo. There is a bar at the hostel but it closes up quite early so it doesn’t bother you at night. The staff is friendly and helpful.
