Ostello Santa Fosca operates like a well-oiled machine. I can tell they are frequently booked solid, and it's because their staff are great and ready to help, the rooms are spacious, and there is an awesome equipped kitchen and common areas both indoor and outdoor (HUGE courtyard - as this was formerly a convent). Check in was very smooth, and the room is impeccably clean. Sheets folded, every bed in my rooom had an accommpanying table and a wall outlet. I also liked that no bed was a bunk bed. (ironically, then it really felt like I was sleeping at an orphanage or something... lol). The bathrooms were also exceptionally clean. Women's bathroom on the 1st floor (2nd floor if you're American) had 4 sinks, 3 showers, and 2 toilets. Internet was good. They have free water, pasta, and juice. Also, not sure if others have mentioned this, but it is a REALLY QUIET location. The rooms are separated by thick walls so there's not a lot of noise, and the hostel itself is removed from a lot of other nightlife and water taxis - makes for a 5-10+ min walk to anything, but is very quiet to sleep

The location is pretty nice, the prices are really good I paid €117 for 2 nights and it's totally worth it cause I was in the middle of the island with everything within walking distance...

Everything was Perfect, the room and facilities are wonderful and the staff are very helpful. Even when we had an issue with the shower, it was fixed almost immediately.

I didn't book breakfast during my stay, but there was a kitchen available on the ground floor. It was equipped with all the necessary utensils, a cookstove, a refrigerator, and various spices. Anyone who wants to cook can use the kitchen, including the cutlery. Additionally, there is air conditioning in the dining area! The best part is that all of this is available free of charge!

The Generator Venice offers stylish rooms and dormitories on Giudecca Island, with views of Saint Mark's Square in the distance.

The room was neat and clean with a sink in the room for freshing up, and a shared bathroom with 5 rooms, but personally I had no problems with that and neither with the shared kitchen. The staff was friendly and always welcome to help in case of any problem. The location is also very good with markets within a few minutes walk. It took just about 5 minutes more or less to get to the Rialto Bridge. It's a perfect hostel!
