United Arab EmiratesI stayed with LDK in Osaka and Tokyo and I couldn’t have a better experience than this. I think is the best hostel around the world, base in my own experience. The staff is so kind, I arrive earlier than the check in time and they store my luggage and the procedure of check in and check out was so easy. The facilities are new, well maintained and clean.

The host is so lovely. Her dog is so cute and friendly too! Sometimes he’ll greet you at the door, this meant so much to me especially when I was missing my dog at home.
The neighborhood is AMAZING. I love Koenji so much. A perfect, calm getaway from the city with still plenty of things to do. Great restaurants, thrifting, karaoke, parks, and Japanese vibes. Also Nakano is a 20 min walk away and they have a mall with Uniqlo and everything else you’d need.
It’s easy to meet other people and make friends! Women-only was awesome and made me feel really safe.
I can’t wait to go back and spend my entire Japan trip here. I shouldn’t have bothered with any other hotels. Nothing compares to Grapehouse Koenji!

CanadaThe owners here are amazing. They are super friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. It feels like you are coming home rather than coming back to a guesthouse. The bed was the comfiest that I’ve ever slept in! Very clean as well. I appreciated the personal tour with stories about the owners’ children. The owners also live here, so they are always available if you need them. Great location with a direct line to Narita or Haneda airport.

With such a small space for 4 of us (whole family), it was surprisingly comfortable to stay. And they managed to install 3 sinks in three separate space, the bedroom, the shower room and the washroom! That became super handy when 4 of us try to use water at the same time.
