Homy Seafront Hostel is situated in Kota Kinabalu, within 3.6 km of Sabah State Museum & Heritage Village and 5.4 km of North Borneo Railway. All facilities were quite nice, clean, cozy and even quiet. Especially all staff was tremendously friendly. Even they are well-armed with attractive smiles. ^^ I still remember one of male staffs, Ebin(?)'s kindness. Thank to him, I learned about Malaysian culture as well. If someone has a plan to travel East Malaysia, I strongly recommend this great hostel.

Faloe Hostel is set in Kota Kinabalu, within 1.8 km of Filipino Market Sabah and 4.1 km of Sabah State Museum & Heritage Village. 1. I arrived after the check-in hour, so the staff arranged a self check-in for me. The process was easy as videos and pictures were provided as guidance. 2. They provide toast, coffee, and tea for breakfast. 3. They have a washer and dryer at a reasonable price.

8 km from Borneo Convention Centre Kuching, The Wheelhouse is situated in Kuching and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. It is in the city centre and the host is incredibly kind and helpful

Located in Semporna, The Nest Hostel features free WiFi. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen and a shared lounge for guests. Clean, simple stay, very value for money. We could even use the washing machine for free.

Located within 5.6 km of Filipino Market Sabah and 400 metres of North Borneo Railway, Dazzle Home Aeropod provides rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Tanjong Aru. Spacious & cozy room. Seems spotless, but there's a baby cockroach inside my room, still alive. Very hard to catch 😂

Concrete Jungle Cabin is set in Kota Kinabalu, within 4.1 km of Sabah State Museum & Heritage Village and 5.2 km of Likas City Mosque. I loved how comfy the bed is. The showers and toilets were separated and kept clean by the care takers. Though I have to keep quite all the time as the dorm was also occupied with other travellers. I checked in quite late and stayed only for 6 hours and prior to my late arrival, as the reception is only available for 12 hours, the management sent me a message on Booking for self check-in which was so convenient and great especially for a late check-in. Thank you for the auntie who was there to help me out as well. Loved her vibe! Place is situated at the heart of Gaya Street, right in front of Jesselton Hotel and quite close to Wisma Merdeka (which was my main purpose to go there). I'm grateful for the locker underneath. Got to store my luggage inside safely, whilst I roam around the street. Affordable? Definitely Location? Yes Clean and comfortable? Yes Would I book here again? Yes

AeCOTEL Mingle Hostel is located in Sandakan. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen, a shared lounge and organising tours for guests. Excellent location rhought the hostel is quite quiet. Only saw other travelers briefly in the morning. Good kitchen. Great to have washer and dryer use.

DZ Backpackers provides air-conditioned accommodation in Semporna. The accommodation features a shared kitchen and a shared lounge for guests. At the hostel, the rooms have a balcony. Clean, helpful staff, good wifi, hot shower, they let you use the laundry machine for free. Definitely good value for money.

Located in Kuching, 8.3 km from Borneo Convention Centre Kuching, Upspot Kuching Waterfront Premium Hostel provides air-conditioned rooms and a shared lounge. Easy check in and check out. The room was so clean and comfortable
