Staff were so lovely and accomodating with us booking an extra night. The common area/kitchen was great and the breakfast was very nice. The rooms were very clean and comfortable.

The location was sooo convenient, there bus stop near and only 2 minutes to train station. there also supermarket near there. and they have lounge area in first floor where we can enjoy cup ramen from supermarket cause they provide microwave and kettle. the breakfast was also good in the range of hostel level. everything was clean even the sharing bathroom are always clean. the storages in bedroom have automatic lock with card, no need to bring padlock! also we can rent the switzerland adapter for 10 swiss franc cash instead of buying it. literally im satisfied!

Come to Balmers and stay in the oldest private hostel in Switzerland! Our hostel is situated in three traditional Swiss wooden chalets that surround a courtyard, terras and garden. Great facilities. Even going above the necessary things. For example there is a hammock room and a jacuzzi which are both amazing. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Great location and visually it is just an amazing looking building.

Awesome view from our room! Very tidy and comfortable. Everyday we had fresh towels and water. The bad was made up everyday as well. The WC was cleaned and refreshed daily. Service was exceptional! It is all in attention to small details. My husband got a lot of care from the staff on his birthday. But even besides this occasion they were very very friendly!
