Our children (ages 4,9 and 11) all loved the playgrounds and treasure hunt hike up the mountain. This was a very family friendly lodge and we hope to visit again! Everyone who works here is friendly and compassionate.

Very friendly family that runs the hotel/hostel. Because it was still low season we got a free upgrade to a better room which is always a nice surprise. The room was very comfortable and the location is fantastic. There is also a lovely little common area where you can watch TV and enjoy a free selection of teas.

Engelberg Youth Hostel se nachází v Engelbergu, 500 metrů od lanovky Titlis Rotair, a nabízí samoobslužnou restauraci a letní terasu. The staff were uniformly friendly and helpful. The facility itself was absolutely amazing in all of the details such as separate washrooms for each gender that had plenty of space for several people at a time in the same for toilets. Plenty of showers that were private. Superb dinner! I had to leave before their included breakfast but presume it was also wonderful. It is in a quiet space with nice outdoor relaxation possible as well as indoor. Whenever traveling I'm going to be looking for this type of facility within this organization. Highly recommend! Also it was in a quiet area. Very comfortable beds.
