The location is great - in the UNESCO old part of the city. Probably the cheapest option in Bern. Stuff is friendly and helpful. The common area in the hostel is big and convenient. In January the room was warm. Totally recommend.

Schloss Burgdorf Youth Hostel se află în Burgdorf și include o grădină, un lounge comun, o terasă și un bar. The rooms are spacious and new, the bathrooms and showers are luxurious. I like the curtains in the beds that give extra privacy. Breakfast was extraordinary. I was amazed when I found out that the hostel is a real castle that has been converted into a hostel.

Great location right on the river, and triple pane windows kept out the late night noise. Room was for 8 but we were only 3 so it worked out. Breakfast was very good; first time I've ever had a large baked pretzel for breakfast!
