The location was central. The room was clean and had everything I needed. The reception staff were both kind and responsive. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Chengdu.

Teddy Bear Hotel je velmi doporučen průvodcem Lonely Planet a nachází se 5 minut chůze od malebné oblasti Mount Emei. Má kavárnu s tématikou medvěda a ubytování s bezplatným připojením k internetu. Very nice hotel, close to the Baugò Temple and the bus station where you can take bused to go to different points of the Emei Shan hiking route. The couple that run the hostel are nice and helpful, with plenty of advise to visit the place.

This is a wonderful place run by an English speaking host who cares for her guests. We enjoyed the lunch, dinner and breakfast very much.

Chengdu Lazybones Hostel Templeside Poshpacker se nachází ve čtvrti Jinniu města Čcheng-tu, 700 metrů od kláštera Wenshu, a nabízí pokoje s klimatizací i ve všech prostorách zdarma dostupné Wi-Fi. I stayed in a mixed dorm for about 5 nights in July 2025. The room had a private bathroom, which I shared with my roommates. It mostly wasn't any issue regarding bumping into each other in the bathroom. The room itself is quite spacy, provides a locker and also has an AC, which the guests can regulate. The laundry room offeres two washing machines, a dryer as well as many hanging racks. The washing machine and the dryer are able to be paid by Wechat (as well as the washing machine seems to work with coins as well.) The costs for one washing load comes to 11¥. When you enter the hotel, which was very easy to find caused by providing an accurate adress, you will find the reception on the left. The lobby itself has a Cafe vibe over day and turned to a bar at night (which allowes smoking during this time.). I am a non smoker and was worried about this before, but it actually never was that intense, so even didn't bother. The hotel also offers several trips to hot spots, you might consider. The only down side is, that for most of them you would need to sign up for two people (also possible with other guess). Regarding the service, I definitely can praise Nicole, the receptionist! She is extremly helpful, fun to chat to, even played some Majiang with me in the evening and offers an awesome service, such as the others as well. I seriously recommend staying there! The location is nice, even a bit far away from the metro station (15min. by foot), the service was excellent, room spacy, nice and clean.

Amazing very friendly English speaking stuff! Help and solve any issues in no time! Taxy, activity recommendations, sim card, installing chinese applications, a fee cooking workshop, a warm friendly hug and sweet chitchatting about life - just perfect for a solo traveler like me. Cozy backpackers international vibes with both Chinese and international friendly travelers. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and design of the main space.

Chengdu Mix Hostel Poshpacker je příjemným útočištěm pro mezinárodní cestovatele již téměř 20 let a nabízí útulné útočiště v tomto tradičním domě na nádvoří zažít uvolněnou atmosféru Chengdu. the beds were comfortable, the AC did wonders in such a humid climate, the shared showers and bathrooms were actually pretty nice.

Chengdu Flipflop Hostel - Right Next To Taikooli & Metro - Chill & Social Rooftop Garden Bar - Free Activities - Friendly English Speaking Staff - Tibet, Panda, Buddha & Snow Mountain Tours is... This is one of the best hostels I’ve stayed! The room was a great size, had great nights sleep and the location is perfect - super close to everything. In the middle of the city but there is also a quaint little area down the road with cute cafes and shops. The best thing is the staff - it is staffed 24/7 with amazing staff who speak English and do anything to help. One of the ladies helped me buy tickets to see the table tennis because the website was only in Chinese. Thank you for making my stay in Chengdu! Couldn’t recommend more
