Staff was very helpful on arranging transportation and laundry service. They also had lockers we utilized to keep our larger bags here while traveling on to Puerto Nariño. The breakfast was traditional and delicious. Hammocks near the pool area were shaded, comfortable, and clean. It was a small oasis that was extremely restful and calm.

We spent three wonderful days with Daniel and his family in the beautiful village of San Martín de Amacayacu. The place is easily accessible by speedboat from either Leticia or Puerto Nariño. The boat drops you off at a riverside point where Daniel came to meet us personally. We highly recommend this stay for anyone looking for simple yet comfortable accommodation, delicious home-cooked meals, and a warm, welcoming family atmosphere. A variety of activities are available, including day and night hikes, workshops, and excursions — all of which can be arranged on-site. We especially enjoyed the day hike, the basket-weaving workshop, and a trip to see the “lazy bears” on the Peruvian side — all of which we would highly recommend. Daniel was a fantastic host: attentive, helpful, and always available to answer questions and accommodate our needs. Thank you so much for a memorable stay!
