Quentin and Diana, who run the hostel, were so welcoming and helpful from the very first encounter. We stayed 5 days there and it was super nice and quiet, perfect to come down after a week in Bogotá:). Quentin connected us with his friend and local guide for an awesome hike to the páramo, gave us recommendations where to eat and checked with the people for us as we're vegan, also gave the right advises for our further travel. Would stay there anytime again:)

The location was perfect and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and very clean. The dining room area was nice and the breakfast was good. The beds were firm but very comfortable.

The place is beautiful and located only half a block away from the bus station and it's very close to the main square too. Spacious and comfortable room and the breakfast was delicious. Located in Villa de Leyva’s town centre, Posada Portal de la Villa offers a 24-hour front desk, free parking and a tour desk. Free Wi-Fi access is also available. Just the entrance is beautiful. You come in a garden with trees, gardening tools from back in the day and tables where people eat their breakfast. It’s very clean, staff is really kind and the, I believe, the owner, an older man is super sweet, and it’s super close to the Plaza Major.
