Place genuinely feels like home - really cozy environment and very hospitable hosts. Felt very welcomed. Plus, location is perfect because it’s close to the airport (which is a big differential given the amount I’d have spent on taxi if I had stayed at another hostel in San Jose’s city center)… and the area is really chill, with a beautiful view of the mountains and good restaurants. Definitely staying there again anytime I find myself in San Jose in the future.

Personal fans in every bed and my bed itself was really comfortable. The staff is some of the sweetest and most helpful I've had in central America. Nice, well equipped, large kitchen. There's a TT table for those who play. All the common areas being in one place ensures that it's pretty social but not in a loud way. Very easy to make friends and talk to people, find others to plan activities together etc.
