The location of the hostel is great. It is far enough away from the main streets to be quiet but close enough to walk to restaurants and the main square. The hostel is welcoming and comfortable. I will happily stay here again when I am in Liberia.

Questo ostello ha superato le nostre aspettative, situato in mezzo alla natura, ma allo stesso tempo vicino a tutti i punti principali come spiagge, bar, ristoranti e il supermercato a due passi. La nostra camera era nuova, molto bella, pulita e accogliente. Non c'è l'aria condizionata, ma questo non è un problema grazie ai due ventilatori abbiamo dormito una favola. Lo staff accogliente e solare. Ci tornerei assolutamente.

The king room was a huge separate building and one of the comfiest beds ever. Tons of space. The pool was so refreshing, I saw tons of birds and iguana. The people were really friendly, and the kitchen had what you need to cook + some coffee in the morning. I appreciated that it was a little out of the way of the busy part of town, ~a 10 minute walk from the main stuff in town

Set in Hacienda Santa María, 23.7 km from Miravalles Volcano, Santa Maria Volcano Lodge Hotel & Restaurante offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. My gf forgot her airpods in the hotel room, but the hotel arranged for them to be brought to us in Liberia which saved us from a really long drive. They truly went above and beyond.

A special shoutout to Juan, who went above and beyond to help me during my stay – especially when I needed to buy my Tica Bus ticket. He was incredibly kind, patient, and resourceful. If you're looking for a chill spot close to the ocean, with helpful staff and a great atmosphere, this is the place. Would definitely come back!

Great value. 2 blocks from the market. really helped with unusua ck in and out times. So friendly!

This is the best hostel I have ever stayed at. The atmosphere is great! The communal kitchen is fantastic! I stayed with my teenage children and they also had a great time. They surfed eith Marcos at the surf school and enjoyed it very much!! We stayed at a private room but enjoyed the hostel atmosphere and friendly people. There is no hoy water but actually It was so hot that we never missed it. It was ealking distance to Tamarindo beach and center, there were many supermarkets very close by. Excellent location! We will definitely come back!

The vibes are amazing, such a good communal energy and so many lovely people!! The kitchen is nice and had everything we needed :)
