La Tribu Boutique Hostel for Women ligger i Puerto Viejo, 6 minuters promenad från Playa Negra, och har luftkonditionerade rum och en gemensam lounge. För att vara ett hostel överträffade detta alla våra förväntningar. Allt var mycket väl genomtänkt och atmosfären var behaglig och gemytlig. De aktiviteter som fanns att frivilligt och även kostnadsfritt delta på varje dag gjorde verkligen ett plus i kanten!

Cabinas Algebra ligger i Cahuita, en kort bit från Negra strand, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering, en terrass och en restaurang. Everything. Especially the lovely staff. When we arrived they took the time to tell us everything we should know about the area (transportation, water, etc...). We ate a few times in the restaurant and the food was delicious.

The views of the sea, and the plants, trees and animals all around are magic! ✨ saw a sloth right opposite the gate of Svastha and Tucana fly around the yoga Shala!

Arcari Garden Hostel ligger bara 400 meter från Tortugueros nationalpark och bara några steg från havet. Här erbjuds gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. Excellent hostel right in the heart of Tortuguero village and easy too reach from the docks. We had a private room with ensuite and it was comfy and had AC - which was great to recover from the humid heat. Staff is wonderful and friendly. There's a common kitchen if you want to do your own grub, but also plenty cheap food options in the village. No problems paying with card anywhere, even small sums in the supermercado. The big highlight of this place is the tours organised through Aracari - we went on the canoe tour and the turtle tour (absolute MUST, it's incredible to see them) with Israel who is a gem of a guide, and on a night tour with another Aracari guide (sadly I don't remember his name) but he was also super great! I saw a baby sloth through his scope 😍 Also book your boat tickets ahead on tiketico, and once at the docks, look out for the Fersa/Fersa2 boats which are the ones that work with Aracari.

Casa Mamré ligger i Cahuita, 6 minuters promenad från Blanca strand, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering, en gemensam lounge och en terrass. Amazing position, right in front of the Caribbean Sea! Caleb is a very nice person, always ready to help for anything. Hope to come back!

My stay at El Clan Hostel was absolutely outstanding. From the moment I arrived until the day I checked out, I felt right at home thanks to the peaceful atmosphere, the beautiful natural surroundings, and the charm of the property. I want to give a very special mention to Daniela Mejías, who made my experience truly exceptional. Her attention to detail, kindness, and genuine care for guests make a remarkable difference. Daniela was always ready to help, answered all my questions with patience, and offered great recommendations about the area. Team members like her elevate the quality of the stay and make you want to return. The hostel is perfect for relaxing, enjoying nature, and meeting fellow travelers. The common areas are clean and inviting, the beds are comfortable, and the overall vibe is wonderful. I highly recommend this hostel, and I will definitely stay here again on my next visit. Thank you to the entire team—especially Daniela—for making my stay unforgettable!

Casa Wolaba i Puerto Viejo erbjuder boende endast för vuxna med en gemensam lounge, en terrass och en bar. Excellent hostel. The staff/volunteers were amazing. The little capsule beds are good and fairly private for a hostel. It's really cool that they run events every night of the week.

El Hostel del Patio ligger i Tortuguero och har en trädgård, en terrass, en restaurang och en bar. Boendet har ett gemensamt kök och en tur- och utflyktsdisk och kan även bistå med bagageförvaring. I stayed at this hostel/hotel for 5 days, I was in a dorm and I can say the most comfortable bed ever! It was clean and brand new with big lockers, AC and a big fan with toilets and bathrooms inside each room and a beautiful balcony over the patio where you have many animals coming every day like monkeys and macaws! The people working there are the best 💚 It also has a restaurant and bar with a dock that’s amazing to watch sunset. I honestly could live there it was so green, clean, beautiful and new.
