Our kids loved staying in a giant bunk bed. Everything was really clean and the staff was really friendly. They have lockers to keep your stuff in if you don’t want to carry it around all day after checkout.

The camping set-up was very good and it is also close to City center, Waterfall and Triberg Bahnhof. Also, the staff were kind and friendly, the washrooms were neat and clean. Lot of activities to engage the kids - lots of toys, books, puzzles and a trampoline which helped to kill time even on a rainy day.

Set in Lörrach and with Badischer Bahnhof reachable within 8.5 km, Heimathafen Hostel offers a bar, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and massage services. Very clean and tidy, comfortable and quiet even though it’s next to the train station. Cheaper to stay in Germany than Switzerland and the travel card means you can still access Basel very easily. Next to a supermarket and right across the road from the train into Basel. I arrived late due to a train crash on my way into Germany and a late check out was easily arranged. I also wanted to extend my stay whilst I was out and all was arranged super easily. I have stayed in hostels in over 40 countries and this was by far my favourite. Would 100% stay again.

Relaxed landlord, facilities are well above things I have experienced. Lots of room, well equipped kitchen, space space space. We were there with family with small kids and it was really convenient.
