He helped us cross the island to the city side to take some tours and then to be driven to the airport in the middle of the night/early in the morning. Breakfast was very good and the guest house is beautiful. The island is super calm and nice with a delicious restaurant that has a great view of the Nile. I would definitely recommend his place!!!

Keeping in touch with me throughout as we had a late night arrival. Even went to extra mile to get us cough mixture. The traditional breakfast was also very nice. I would highly recommend this place for the authentic Aswan experience.

You can see the love on the place and wanting to do stuff as good as possible. They have little semiapartments with shared half kitchens (not stove but fridge, a sink, glasses and plates), the room I stayed had a balcony with beautiful views to the nile river, had airconditioning but also a fan, so you can chose. The shower has a heater, and though it has an interesting design just in the middle of the toilet, it works and is very good. The owner incredibly nice, very nice person to talk with. Her dauther is the only one doing Bird watching tours in Aswan (even being featured on the Lonely planet).

The hostel, housed in an old Egyptian building, was surprisingly clean and easily accessible. It offered exceptional value for money. For just USD 5, I enjoyed a clean and guest-friendly property with an array of amenities. These included free Wi-Fi, filtered water, complimentary breakfast and dinner, and attentive staff. The rooftop area was a highlight, designed to resemble an Indian village with a thatched roof. I often found myself comfortably seated on the carpet, basking in the sunlight that filtered through the thatched covering. The kitchen staff, particularly the always-smiling lady, contributed to the pleasant atmosphere. Considering the low price of USD 5, the hostel far exceeded expectations. It's difficult to imagine finding better accommodations at this price point. Overall, this hostel proved to be an excellent choice for my stay.
