Amazing location just inside the city walls near the castle with views of the wall, harbour, and stunning sunsets. Very atmospheric. Excellent communication with the owners. We had a lot of room for three adults, with a comfortable seating area, great ventilation from triple aspect windows, very modern bathroom. The breakfast was very generous and, if you wished there was a kitchen for guests with anything you would need. We were travelling by bus and the bus stop was only a short walk from the hostel. Pubs and restaurants nearby. Short bus ride to the Snowden Mountain Railway station.

Placed at the foot of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), the YHA Snowdon Pen-y-Pass is surrounded by stunning Welsh landscape in a rural location, with no mobile phone signal - offering guests a break from... Fantastic staff who were so helpful during my stay, they really would go above and beyond what I would expect from a hostel. The kitchen was well equipped and really spacious, wifi was super fast, showers heat up quickly, and the location is beautiful. Would really recommend staying here if you want to hike Snowdon, I had a great time.
