So Young Hostel is situated in Heraklio Town, a 4-minute walk from Heraklion Archaeological Museum and 400 metres from Venetian Walls. I had a private room with a private bathroom and it was excellent. The location is close to the city centre and the waterfront and I hung out with other fellow travellers playing cards one evening. The hostel enabled a good mix of solitude and being social!

A lovely woman who is able to let you feel at home. Spending time here is the same feeling when you go back home. The full service is impeccable, including the communication.

Dorm room with single bed "boxes", so you do don't get wokrn up by the light from your roommates. The owner was lovely. We could already check-in in the morning. Also somebody could check in late at night. He really puts in the effort. Hostel for a very good price.
