Great and quiet location very close to the main square in Pitsidia and easy enough walk to the beach. Sofia is very helpful and the common kitchen and laundry room were wonderful. The courtyard patio was the perfect place to hang out.

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that made me feel like a special guest. The highlight for me was definitely the inviting swimming pool, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The staff, led by Adam the manager, went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. Names like Sophie, Tobias, Theo, Caroline, and many others made my time here unforgettable with their friendly and helpful demeanor. I highly recommend Matala Hostel for anyone looking for a welcoming atmosphere and exceptional hospitality. Can't wait to return!

Dorm room with single bed "boxes", so you do don't get wokrn up by the light from your roommates. The owner was lovely. We could already check-in in the morning. Also somebody could check in late at night. He really puts in the effort. Hostel for a very good price.
