So Young Hostel is situated in Heraklio Town, a 4-minute walk from Heraklion Archaeological Museum and 400 metres from Venetian Walls. I had a private room with a private bathroom and it was excellent. The location is close to the city centre and the waterfront and I hung out with other fellow travellers playing cards one evening. The hostel enabled a good mix of solitude and being social!

Also somebody could check in late at night. He really puts in the effort. Hostel for a very good price.
