Located in Márianosztra, Márianosztrai Zarándokszálláshely features a garden. This is really an amazing place to be. Located in a very small village in the mountains and forest everywhere. The village is itself very nice, amazing quiet, you only hear the birds at daytime and the crickets at night. Everything basis you need is in the village, a supermarket, a place to drink coffee and eat. The hostel is located in a white community building. Place is very clean. People in the hostel are very friendly and the people in the village too. Room is nice. Toilets and showers are abundant. Hourly busconnection from the village to Szob (and some other little villages and sometimes even direct bus to Vac) with bus 350 and 354. Takes 15 minutes to Szob. There you have hourly - or more - a train to Budapest Nyugati station and also westbound trains to Slovakia, Sturovo, Bratislava and all the way to Brno and Prague. Really good place to get positive energy and relax. English is not widely spoken, one lady could speak very good German. But people will help you, even if you don't speak Hungarian. If you need party life, take a train to Budapest and come back after the party and relax and re-energize in Marianosztra. Place is so nice actually, that one might not even need wifi (wifi was also very good), but you will actually start to live really. Muzea are also in the village and there is a steamlocomotive-line to Szob. There is also a kitchen downstairs, also very clean with all facilities you need.

Its exactly what you need for a night before an early flight all the other reviews here are from entitled folks expecting 5 star hotel for 40 euro a night. Has everything you need and a cheap airport shuttle. Great staff and perfect for what it is.
