The place is quiet and you can see fireflies at night. The bungalow is well built with nice materials. The view on the rice fields is amazing. They have only 2 bungalows. One has the balcony directly on the rice fields and the other one is on the side (still very nice), this is great as you don't see anyone from your balcony, very private :)

The food in the restaurant is of great quality and the atmosphere was relaxed in the resort. It is a small resort with less than 10 bungalows and it is located 10 min from the great sun set points and about 10 min from the "real"center of Amed. Rent a scooter and the distances are brought back to zero to nothing. The price / quality is really good. The beds are comfy in both type of rooms. My children slept in the bigger one, the three of them and the two of us slept in the smaller one. The shower is a wonderful experience and the bungalows are clean and have all the necessary amenities. No, it isn't a luxurious and posh resort and that is exactly what makes is really nice and comfortable, but it has everything you need when you will spend all of your time at the beach or in the sea. My daughter left her iPods in one of the drawers and they took the extra mile to get them returned to us once we were on Bali after we visited Lombok. Wonderful and kind service! This is what hospitality should be. Thanks for the great experience!

I was very pleasantly surprised as I had not stayed in a dormitory for many many years so was a little apprehensive to book initially. I ended up my staying 3 extra nights as it was so good and you could sleep peacdfully. I met some wonderful other travellers from UK, Germany, Spain and Argentina.
