He was very accommodating to my situation and made sure I was comfortable throughout my stay. The room was clean, spacious, and a great place to relax after a long day. At first, I wasn’t planning to do the trekking because it was a bit out of my budget, and we initially disagreed on the price. But despite that, he went as far as to let me set up my tent on his property for free to ensure my safety, which really showed his kindness and hospitality. One important thing to note—before booking, make sure you can afford the trekking with him. He’s very passionate about it, and there could be some misunderstandings if you stay without booking a trek. But overall, if you’re looking for a welcoming place with a great host and a solid trekking experience, this is a great choice!

Comfy beds, modern style hostel dorm, wonderful staff, very helpful, bar down stairs but not noisy, right next to the swimming hole!

The owner and all of the staff are incredible and super fun people to hang with. You go to this place as a stranger but even after a couple days you become like family. I wish I could have stayed longer. 30 min drive to Saroke but no problem because it was easy to rent scooters from salty dog. Best place ever!!

Sentosa Lodge features free bikes, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Padang. We had a nice double room with a large semi outdoor private bathroom. Everyone who works there was super kind and helpful They did my laundry for free! They got us the ferry tickets for Mentawai

Set on the beachfront in Tuapejat and boasting a private beach area, Likat Surf House has free WiFi throughout the property. Staff is nice, organizes surf, spearfishing and island-hopping trips. There is an on-site café where you can get breakfast (included in the stay). They also have quite a few surfboards for rent. Room is simple, bu It has all you need, bed is comfy, you can get free coffee/tea all day. I only stayed a night, but I wish to have stayed longer. You can see Telescopes breaking from far(but in front of the accommodation), to reach it is a short boat ride away. Had probably the best surf session of my life there :) Thanks and see you next time!
