I had a great experience staying here. The host is a really chill, down-to-earth guy who genuinely cares about his guests. He was very accommodating to my situation and made sure I was comfortable throughout my stay. The room was clean, spacious, and a great place to relax after a long day. At first, I wasn’t planning to do the trekking because it was a bit out of my budget, and we initially disagreed on the price. But despite that, he went as far as to let me set up my tent on his property for free to ensure my safety, which really showed his kindness and hospitality. One important thing to note—before booking, make sure you can afford the trekking with him. He’s very passionate about it, and there could be some misunderstandings if you stay without booking a trek. But overall, if you’re looking for a welcoming place with a great host and a solid trekking experience, this is a great choice!

Set in Bukit Lawang, Thousands of Bottles - Hostel and Trekking features a shared lounge, terrace, bar, and free WiFi. Certain units at the property feature a balcony with a river view. Comfy beds, modern style hostel dorm, wonderful staff, very helpful, bar down stairs but not noisy, right next to the swimming hole!

Nias Surfing Accomodation býður upp á herbergi í Lagudri, í nokkurra skrefa fjarlægð frá Sorake-ströndinni og í 1,3 km fjarlægð frá Lagundri-ströndinni. We had the best time with the Wau family! Such amazing people and great hospitality - always had great chats with Frank and Titus. The location is as good as it gets with a view of the spot and a minute walk from the keyhole. Our room had everything we needed. We would come back for sure!

Salty Dog Hostel er staðsett í Telukdalam, nokkrum skrefum frá Baloho-ströndinni og býður upp á gistirými með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði, sameiginlega setustofu og verönd. I had a fantastic stay at Salty Dog Hostel- my only regret was I couldn't stay longer!. Arif, Axel and the whole family create a really nice family vibe in the hostel and will always go out of their way to make sure you get the most from your stay on this beautiful island. The dorm I stayed in was basic, but had everything you needed- privacy curtain , Aircon and an attached bathroom. The hostel hires out both scooters and surfboards for cheap ( even more so if you take over a week ) and is only a 20 min drive away from the best surfing spots in the South. When I return to Nias one day I will certainly be going back to stay at the salty Dog. Many thanks Arif, Axel and family !! ❤️🧂🐕❤️

Dazhong Backpacker's Hostel er staðsett í Medan. Hvert herbergi á farfuglaheimilinu er með fataskáp. Sum herbergi Dazhong Backpacker's Hostel eru með svalir og öll herbergin eru með ketil. Best place to stay for backpackers in Medan. The location is perfect and the host extremely friendly and helpful. The place is clean and relatively comfortable--remember it is a hostel, not a hotel, so be prepared for sharing the space. I stayed at a different hostel in Medan before coming to Dazhong and it could not compare to this. You will meet fellow travelers here, the atmosphere is very friendly, and you will get all the information and help you need to travel in Sumatra.

Likat Surf House snýr að ströndinni í Tuapejat og er með einkastrandsvæði. Boðið er upp á ókeypis einkabílastæði og gististaðurinn býður upp á flugrútu gegn gjaldi. Amazing. All was amazing. Surf lessons, boat trip, the room, the team, all this stay was so good (and bahasa indonesian lessons obviusly), I can only recommended to stay here with James and his family !!!
