I had a great experience staying here. The host is a really chill, down-to-earth guy who genuinely cares about his guests. He was very accommodating to my situation and made sure I was comfortable throughout my stay. The room was clean, spacious, and a great place to relax after a long day. At first, I wasn’t planning to do the trekking because it was a bit out of my budget, and we initially disagreed on the price. But despite that, he went as far as to let me set up my tent on his property for free to ensure my safety, which really showed his kindness and hospitality. One important thing to note—before booking, make sure you can afford the trekking with him. He’s very passionate about it, and there could be some misunderstandings if you stay without booking a trek. But overall, if you’re looking for a welcoming place with a great host and a solid trekking experience, this is a great choice!

Nias Frank Accomodation ligger i Lagudri, en kort bit från Sorake strand, och har en egen strand, rökfria rum samt gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. Var och ett av rummen har balkong. We had the best time with the Wau family! Such amazing people and great hospitality - always had great chats with Frank and Titus. The location is as good as it gets with a view of the spot and a minute walk from the keyhole. Our room had everything we needed. We would come back for sure!

Salty Dog Hostel ligger i Telukdalam, en kort bit från Baloho strand, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering, en gemensam lounge och en terrass. Amazing vibes and super chill environment. The owner and all of the staff are incredible and super fun people to hang with. You go to this place as a stranger but even after a couple days you become like family. I wish I could have stayed longer. 30 min drive to Saroke but no problem because it was easy to rent scooters from salty dog. Best place ever!!

Staff is nice, organizes surf, spearfishing and island-hopping trips. There is an on-site café where you can get breakfast (included in the stay). They also have quite a few surfboards for rent. Room is simple, bu It has all you need, bed is comfy, you can get free coffee/tea all day. I only stayed a night, but I wish to have stayed longer. You can see Telescopes breaking from far(but in front of the accommodation), to reach it is a short boat ride away. Had probably the best surf session of my life there :) Thanks and see you next time!

A very central hostel with plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby. The receptionist speaks good English and is very helpful. Highly recommended! Tip: Bring a USB charger, as the capsule only has USB ports—power outlets are available only outside.
