Memorable Stay at Moonshine Homestay, Srinagar I had the pleasure of staying at Moonshine Homestay in Srinagar, and it was truly an amazing experience! The property is cozy, clean, and beautifully maintained—offering the perfect mix of comfort and Kashmiri warmth. What really made the stay special was the owner’s hospitality. He is incredibly polite, humble, and genuinely caring. From the moment I arrived until the day I left, he went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. The level of service was top-notch—every small need was taken care of with a smile. I highly recommend this place to stay.

The premises are clean, organised, well-equipped and ventilated along with a WiFi. The hosts are warm and responsive. They are fairly receptive and are constantly upgrading their facilities on the basis of feedback and otherwise. The manager/caretaker Bhupinder uncle is a delightful person, helpful and reasonably flexible. They offer help in navigation to the hostel and elsewhere if the need be. There's a budget restaurant right there. The spacious lounge area and garden adds to the experience. Kudos to Ashish (owner) for conceiving and knitting it all together. All in all, it's a pleasant experience worth revisiting.

Rest facilities like oil heaters inside dorms, parking,great food,mini theatre. I personally will go back to this place whenever in Srinagar

Whostels was very clean and cozy, and the staff were all very attentive and warm. The staff immediately assisted with whatever questions we had and were very friendly throughout our few days. The location is great. It is in a very accessible location to the gardens and Dal lake (walkable). For transit, I recommend sharing the street name and locality, rather the name of hostel with taxis and rickshaws for easiest access. We had no trouble reaching all of our desired locations in Srinagar, but it was nice to be off main roads in a quiet village area. The breakfast was also very good 🙏🏻

Zostel Pahalgām is one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at—not just for the place itself, but also for the amazing people, delicious food, ideal location, and overall vibe. It felt like home from the moment I arrived. I had only planned to stay for a night, but I ended up extending my stay because it was so wonderful. As a solo traveler, I’ve had my share of not-so-great experiences, but this was the exact opposite. Bashrat and Monika were the sweetest hosts you could ask for. Khursheed bhai, Faizan bhai, and everyone else were always there to help with anything I needed. And Danish bhai’s food? Incredible—he makes the best poha! I also got to meet some amazing people and build great connections. The view from the hostel is stunning, too. Everything about this place was just perfect!

Rickshaw is also convenient. The chef cooks yummy breakfast. Monica and Puneet are super host!! Thanks a lot 🍀🍀
