I stayed two nights in the female dorm (with two beds).The rooms are minimalistic, spacious and clean. I liked the relaxed vibe at the hostel. There's plenty of space in the common room and patio to relax, socialize with others or read a book. The owner is very helpful, so sweet (he surprised me with a cake on my birthday!) and very fun to talk with. I enjoyed my stay so much here. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a relaxed place to stay in Leh!

At the hostel, all rooms have a terrace. With a private bathroom fitted with a shower and slippers, rooms at Hearth and Haven Homestay -Wifi Available also have a city view. All guest rooms feature a wardrobe. I stayed in Hearth and Haven for 5 nights and I have to say it is the best accommodation I have stayed in India. The room is super spacious, well lit and in a very good location: right in the middle of Leh market. It has hot water and nice shelves to put stuff in and plenty of blankets so you won’t be cold. Overall it is very good value for money. The host Angmo was super kind, warm and welcoming. She helped us with lots of things: heating dinner, preparing hot water, booking our taxing and even helping me with tracking my package from Srinagar (which was supposed to be sent to the homestay but didn’t arrive). She is like our mom in Ladakh

Host was unbelievably accomodating, went out of his way multiple times to help us with early check-in / lifts into town. Even drove us into town when taxi’s were unavailable. Great value for money for the accomodation you get. Bit far from city centre but a very quiet spot, good for anyone doing the Rickshaw Run, located just near the vehicle storage.
