House of Karma has a peaceful, welcoming vibe. Host was very welcoming and professional. The area is calm and tranquil. Clean and cared for by staff. Shared vast and helpful knowledge of the surrounding areas that tourists like myself would find useful.

Set in Leh, within 2 km of Shanti Stupa and 400 metres of Soma Gompa, Hearth and Haven Homestay -Wifi Available offers a shared lounge. I stayed in Hearth and Haven for 5 nights and I have to say it is the best accommodation I have stayed in India. The room is super spacious, well lit and in a very good location: right in the middle of Leh market. It has hot water and nice shelves to put stuff in and plenty of blankets so you won’t be cold. Overall it is very good value for money. The host Angmo was super kind, warm and welcoming. She helped us with lots of things: heating dinner, preparing hot water, booking our taxing and even helping me with tracking my package from Srinagar (which was supposed to be sent to the homestay but didn’t arrive). She is like our mom in Ladakh

Host was unbelievably accomodating, went out of his way multiple times to help us with early check-in / lifts into town. Even drove us into town when taxi’s were unavailable. Great value for money for the accomodation you get. Bit far from city centre but a very quiet spot, good for anyone doing the Rickshaw Run, located just near the vehicle storage.
