It's brand new, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable, everything a traveler could wish for and more. The host is amazing: genuinely kind, always smiling, and goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. He even offers a free shuttle from Rieti to the hostel and was constantly checking if I wanted a ride to explore the area. Thanks to him, I discovered the beauty of Rivodutri , a small village full of charm, surrounded by nature and fresh air that people from all over the world come to experience for its therapeutic benefits. The beds are new and very comfortable, with free towels provided, and the whole place is incredibly quiet and peaceful perfect for resting. Just a short walk away, you'll find a well-stocked grocery store and a local bar with everything you need at budget-friendly prices, always served with a smile. Rivodutri has truly been the most beautiful place I've visited in years of traveling the world. The combination of natural beauty, friendly locals, and the care offered by the host made this an unforgettable stay. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a special, authentic, and rejuvenating experience in Italy.

The property is absolutely lovely it’s an amazing location the owner Valentina is incredibly thoughtful and kind, the food is also amazing and it’s a great price, overall it was the highlight of my trip and I could not recommend it more!!

Everything was really clean and fresh! Alberto helped us so much with many tips and recommendations of places to visit, and restaurants! We really recommend this place. We are definitely coming back for cycling next time.

It was my first time ever staying at a hostel, but honestly, it’s hard to even call this a hostel. Everything exceeded my expectations, from the room layouts and facilities to the cleanliness and overall atmosphere. I was extremely impressed! On my first night, I asked to change rooms (for no urgent reason, just a personal preference), and the staff assisted me immediately without any hesitation, even though my request was a bit indulgent. Every staff member I encountered—whether at reception, housekeeping, the restaurant, or the bar—was incredibly friendly, always smiling, and ready to help. A standout moment was when I inquired about renting a hairdryer. At the time, they didn’t have one available, but later that same day, a staff member who remembered my request went out of their way to reserve one for me and handed it over as I passed by. It was such a thoughtful and kind gesture! The staff truly are problem-solvers, fully dedicated to ensuring guests feel comfortable and happy throughout their stay. The interior design is clever and stylish! Most of the other guests were young professionals—decent, friendly people who I even made friends with during my stay! As a first-time solo traveler woman, I felt extremely safe and at ease at Jo&Joe. I’ve already recommended it to all my friends and wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else if I ever return to Rome.
