Situated in Masuda, 600 metres from Mochiishi Beach, ゲストハウス＆カフェ ハレテル features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Loveliest hosts ever, stayed late so they could check us in, gave us complimentary coffees the next morning, recommendations of things to do & places to eat. Rooms were excellent, we had four people, two in dorms two in single rooms, both were great, clean & cozy. Location is unbeatable, on the beach with a gorgeous view. Price was great for all rooms.

Located in Inokuchi, 32 km from Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, Guesthouse tonari provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. The place is absolutely new, everything is very clean and taken care of. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The best was the staff: Taka and Kana run the business, and they are a super kind and generous couple, offering their guests all their best, including some free pick up/drop off. The place is very well located for the Shimanami Kaido Rd, or in general for island hopping. Also, it is right next to the ferry that goes to Okunoshima (Bunny Island), wonderful for a few hours of trip. There are some services (restaurant, convenience store, supermarket) around the area and in the hostel they also offer bikes to rent, cheaper than in other places. Wonderful experience to me!

This is a beautiful traditional Japanese guest house on the island of Yuge. We spent a night here while biking the Shimanami Kaido trail. Yas, our host, was super kind and helpful. Fully equipped kitchen with free coffee and tea. Nice shower. Towels can be rented for 100 yen and laundry machine use for 100 yen as well. Very comfortable tatami beds. Close to a very good izakaya restaurant for dinner as well!

Set in Shikano, GNARLY OWL features a garden, a shared lounge and a bar. All rooms come with a shared bathroom with a bidet, a hairdryer and slippers. The units will provide guests with a fridge. Owner is a super friendly and chill guy, great to have drinks with. The room i stayed in was a traditional one with tatami floors and a futon bed; both weren't too hard yet comfortable enough.

Very welcoming owners. Great communication. Convenient pay parking. And great restaurant recommendation, thanks!

The design is very futuristic and eye-catching. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, providing us with a lot of useful information and helping us check in quickly and smoothly. The open space where breakfast is served looks fantastic—very modern and stylish. We stayed for just one night and had breakfast in the morning. They offered a small selection of dishes, but everything was very tasty. Although the room was quite small, it was sufficient for us, especially since we didn’t have large suitcases. We truly enjoyed our stay at this nice, youthful hotel.
