RoheN HAKONEYUMOTO in Hakone provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. Just like in the pictures! Extremely beautifully designed building with comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. The staff is very kind and smiling all the time. Perfect location, 7 min from Hakone yumoto train station on foot. Excellent and delicious minimalist breakfast. Nice tea selection for free. Designated smoking are just makes you want to smoke :). Close to bus stop for routes needed for sightseeing. Didnt feel like leaving the building, thats how pretty it is. Would definitely stay there again!

Located in Nikko, 18 km from Tobu Nikko Station, K's House Nikko - Kinugawa Onsen Hostel provides accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking and a terrace. Wonderful stay, facilities were clean and the Onsen was exceptional with outdoor and indoor options. 10mins walk to the nearest grocery shops, and located in a quiet small town. Note travelling to the main tourist sites in Nikko may take up to an hour via public transport.

HakoneHOSTEL1914 is located in Hakone, 6 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station. Train and bus services are available. All rooms are air conditioned. Shared bathroom. Great stay in old building. Everything is clean, beds are comfortable, facilities are good and location is perfect. Kana is such an amazing and kind host and you won't find as helpful person in whole Japan.

The owner was really hospitable, friendly, and always considerate of his guests and we had many good and informative conversations together. This was one of the best guesthouses I’ve been to in Japan, and I can’t wait to visit it once more.

Set within 200 metres of The Shitaya Shrine and 600 metres of Tokaku-ji Temple, 上野之家分館家庭房 offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Tokyo. I like the staff the best. Extremely long and helpful.

Located in Kawagoe, ちゃぶだい Guesthouse, Cafe&Bar features a garden, terrace, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. This guesthouse has a warm, welcoming vibe and is among my favourite accommodations in Japan. The old traditional building, with the cafe in the front and the garden at the back provide a memorable stay in Kawagoe. The staff is very friendly and I had a great time socialising with other guests. It is clean, comfortable and relaxing.

Featuring a terrace, bar and views of river, Hostel Chapter Two Tokyo is located in Tokyo, 100 metres from Asakusa Station. I booked pod with window view. The view to the river and tokyo tower was simply fantastic. What I liked the most about the place: - excellent location. 2-3 minutes to Asakusa metro station - helpful staff - comfortable bed - pod has an overall nice feel to it

Attractively set in the Nakano district of Tokyo, GrapeHouse Koenji is situated 500 metres from Keimei Park, less than 1 km from Yamato Park and a 8-minute walk from Mabashi Park. It was very clean. Staff did remarkable job spending a lot of time cleaning every day. Had good quality hairdryers, cute toaster oven, free roasted coffee. - not instant, hot showers and laundry machine only ¥100.
