I Nikko, 18 kilometer fra Tobu Nikko stasjon, ligger K's House Nikko - Kinugawa Onsen Hostel, som har en fellesstue, gratis privat parkering og en terrasse. One of the best hostels I've stayed at in term of facilities. Great onsen, balcony and common areas. Nice hikes around.

HakoneHOSTEL1914 is located in Hakone, 6 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station. Train and bus services are available. All rooms are air conditioned. Shared bathroom. The lady working there is an angel, she was so helpful and made our stay even better with local suggestions, transportation knowledge (ex take train instead of bus to avoid traffic- we would ve missed our train otherwise), checking restaurants and onsen availability and making reservations for us) and the room we had was so comfortable and cute. She made our laundry and shared some local sake and created such a good vibe in the hostel with everyone.

Onsen Hostel K's House Hakone ligger en 15-minutters spasertur i oppoverbakke eller en 4-minutters busstur fra Hakone Yumoto stasjon. Easily the most positive surprise during my trip as I booked the last available bed quite late. Very good bed(double in the dorm room), comfortable with quite a lot of storage space and your own window! They change towels daily as well which was a big plus. Toilets outside of the room which is always great, the onsen was such an amazing thing to have right in the hostel after a day of hiking, it’s small but can fit about 8 people and is a very relaxing experience. The staff were very nice and helpful with good tips for hiking and food in the area. The common areas! They were truly amazing with nice decor and good facilities, the kitchen well-stocked and two guest fridges. The main living room is spacious with plenty of seating and various board games to be played and a terrace! Overall it was an amazing stay and I didn’t not expect to meet such great people. The walk to the hostel from the station is not that bad! Just a steep incline for about 5 minutes other than that pretty easy if you just have a backpack.

Bare 38 kilometer fra Nikko stasjon og 38 kilometer fra Tobu Nikko stasjon ligger Guesthouse Kincha 駅東口, som tilbyr overnatting med klimaanlegg og felles bad i Utsunomiya. Very friendly and helpful host. Chatted with him and another guest until night. As a foreigner, the traditional house was a nice cozy experience.

I Minakami, 36 kilometer fra Gala Yuzawa vintersportanlegg, ligger Tanigawa Valley Lodge & Coffee Roastery, som har gratis sykler, gratis privat parkering, en hage og en fellesstue. Nice quiet place. Very heplful and communicative owner.

Bare 7 minutters gange fra Tokaku-ji Temple og 500 meter fra Ryukoku-ji Temple ligger 上野之家分館家庭房, som tilbyr overnatting med klimaanlegg og eget bad i Tokyo. The flat is very well located. 5 minutes walk from Ueno station . It is very well equipped and comfortable and clean.

ちゃぶだい Guesthouse, Cafe&Bar ligger i Kawagoe og har en hage, terrasse, bar og gratis WiFi over hele overnattingsstedet. The staff were so helpful arranging for my bass to be forwarded to my next hotel and kind and amazing and I really loved that bowl of bean curry I had for lunch

Hostel Chapter Two Tokyo ligger i Tokyo, 1 minutters gange fra Asakusa stasjon, og har en terrasse, bar og utsikt over elven. Good location with the local house style accommodation. Lovely deck for early night and a good view . I love Welcome-Beer. So next time I will stay in this hostel.
