HakoneHOSTEL1914 is located in Hakone, 6 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station. Train and bus services are available. All rooms are air conditioned. Shared bathroom. Hon som ägde stället var underbar. Hon var väldigt hjälpsam med att boka restaurang och såg till att vi kom med rätt buss.

Onsen Hostel K's House Hakone ligger 15 minuters promenad uppför en backe eller 4 minuters bussresa från stationen Yumoto i Hakone. Easily the most positive surprise during my trip as I booked the last available bed quite late. Very good bed(double in the dorm room), comfortable with quite a lot of storage space and your own window! They change towels daily as well which was a big plus. Toilets outside of the room which is always great, the onsen was such an amazing thing to have right in the hostel after a day of hiking, it’s small but can fit about 8 people and is a very relaxing experience. The staff were very nice and helpful with good tips for hiking and food in the area. The common areas! They were truly amazing with nice decor and good facilities, the kitchen well-stocked and two guest fridges. The main living room is spacious with plenty of seating and various board games to be played and a terrace! Overall it was an amazing stay and I didn’t not expect to meet such great people. The walk to the hostel from the station is not that bad! Just a steep incline for about 5 minutes other than that pretty easy if you just have a backpack.

Guesthouse Kincha 駅東口 ligger i Utsunomiya, 38 km från Nikkō station och 38 km från Tōbu-Nikkō station, och erbjuder rum med luftkonditionering och delat badrum. I have stayed in many guesthouses before, and this is one of the shared houses I like the most. It is very clean and comfortable. The common space is also cozy. It is very close to Utsunomiya Station and just a 2-minute walk to the best gyoza restaurant in Utsunomiya. The host is very nice. If I visit Utsunomiya again, I will definitely stay at this guesthouse. Highly recommended!

Tanigawa Valley Lodge & Coffee Roastery ligger i Minakami, 36 km från Gala Yuzawa skidort, och erbjuder boende med gratis cyklar, gratis privat parkering, en trädgård och en gemensam lounge. Craig, the owner, and his staff were fantastic. Always happy to help and he even offered me a ride to and from the station. They have e-bikes you can use and they provide precious informations about the area.

上野之家分館家庭房 ligger i Tokyo, 7 minuters promenad från Tokaku-ji Temple och 500 m från Ryukoku-ji Temple, och erbjuder rum med luftkonditionering och eget badrum. It’s super clean and nice. And the owner is super friendly, they let us check in early and let us put our luggage’s at their place after we check out.

ちゃぶだい Guesthouse, Cafe&Bar ligger i Kawagoe och erbjuder boende med trädgård, terrass och bar samt gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. Alla rum har ett pentry och ett delat badrum. The host was super friendly, always happy to chat and answer questions about history and tradition and helped me find my way around Kawagoe, showed me all the must see spots, bars and restaurants. There’s also a little garden in the back and the bar area seems to be the local hang out spot in the evening which is super cool.

Hostel Chapter Two Tokyo ligger i Tokyo, en kort bit från Asakusa station, och har en terrass, bar och utsikt över floden. Exceptional service from staff Great location The facility is clean and well-maintained. It definitely exceeded my expectation

GrapeHouse Koenji har ett perfekt läge i området Nakano Ward i Tokyo, 5 minuters promenad från Keimei Park, mindre än 1 km från Yamato Park och 8 minuters promenad från Mabashi Park. The privacy and the quiet environment Also since it was all women it was extremely safe.
